So we were at Dick’s Sporting Goods, somewhere you wouldn’t normally expect to find either us, and what is it that they sell in their checkout aisle you ask? Well of course, it’s Big League Chew!! Now I don’t know if the average kid knows what this stuff is anymore, but Big League Chew is without a doubt the most satisfying form of novelty bubble gum. Dumping handful after handful of shredded gum in your mouth, the packaging with its ludicrous baseball caricatures, every bit of it is flawless. Forget about your Bubble Tape, it’s a distant runner up.
It is a crying shame that gum flavor longevity hasn’t been a larger priority in the last two decades though.
