I think it’s pretty common knowledge that Shane and I, like many men, are not particularly comfortable with babies. They’re like little aliens to us. Despite the fact that he’d like to have one of his own down the line (whereas I am uncertain of that for myself), I think that Shane is even more uncomfortable with the young-uns than I am. I’m perfectly happy to try and hold a baby, and I am perfectly happy to hand it back when the fluids start flowing. I’m pretty sure just being in same room as a baby freaks Shane out.
